Average clean time is 4 hours and 20 minutes however, the cleaning time ranges from three to five hours for touchpad ovens. Some will have a knob which you will turn to 'Clean.' Others will have a touchpad with a button labelled 'Self Clean.' If your oven has a touchpad, you will need to set the amount of time you want the cycle to run. If your oven door has a lock latch, slide the latch into the lock position. Shut the door to the oven once it's empty. Remove everything from the oven including racks, cookware and grill pans and grids.
